The Collective Mission
Welcome to the Collective.
Our mission is to create work collaboratively, through the ensemble creation process.
We work with artists to create contemporary, non-traditional performances with a focus on combining theatre, music, dance, multimedia & the visual arts. We strive to remain open to explore and take risks together.
Collaborative work creates a higher level of commitment and connection between director and performers, because they participate with the entire creation. Collaborative work also allows for more complete incorporation of movement, dialogue, and music creating a seamless theatrical environment.
Anna DeMers and Kevin G. Becker are the founding members of Tersichore Collective.
We produce works on a project by project basis when we are not colloborating with the Empty Spaces Theatre Co - with whom we are both Collaborating Partners.
Terpsichore Collective gives us the opportunity to showcase our individual projects. We are an ever-growing company with many “friends” that participate in various facets of production and performance. We are constantly looking for new members to join this creative force. Assistant Professor at Kean University, Specializing in Movement.
Has a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College.
She received her Bachelors in Theatre from Rollins College, studying under Dr. S.Joe Nassif, Thomas Ouellette, & Peg O’Keef. She has trainging in Lecoq Physical & ensemble practices from Touchstone Theatre in Bethlehem, PA.

Kevin G. Becker, Resident Composer/Co-Artisitic Diretor
Kevin is the Resident Composer for tcTheatre. His compositions range from modern minimalism, to neo-romanticism, and trip-hop electronica.
He received his BA in Music Compostion & Percussion from Muhlenberg in Allentown, PA. Studying under Dr. Douglas Ovens and Dr. Ted Conners and Dr. John Sinclair and Beth Gotleib at Rollins College. With Empty Spaces, he has served as composer for Bent, Phobias, Ubu Roi, Stripped and Oedipus. Other compositions include Stop Kiss at Mad Cow Theatre, Jack’d In at Harwood Watson Dance, POE at Theatre Downtown, and Twelfth Night at Rollins College. With Terpsichore Collective, he composed Fe-or-Male PlayFest 2005, Solo Face and Hidden Mandala at Orlando Fringe Festival. And Just So Stories at Touchstone Theatre, Bethlehem PA.
